Profile Matching

Matching your period property’s original skirting board, architrave or picture rail is often difficult to achieve with an off the shelf product.

joineryworkshop.com offers a bespoke timber profile matching service. Any moulding can be faithfully reproduced from either a small sample or scale drawing. This can then be used to produce a cutter template matching your profile. Cutters are then ground and we are able to reproduce your timber period moulding.

Pricing is calculated based on the length and depth of cut required, the number of cutters required, the number of machining passes and the timber that the mould is to be machined onto.

Cutters will be retained by joineryworkshop.com and allocated a unique reference number should you wish to purchase additional lengths of the custom moulding.

Please note that pricing is based on the following calculation:

Large Cutter set (25 x 100mm) = £125		L = Qty  large cutters required to make the moulding
Small Cutter set (25 x 45mm) = £85		S = Qty small cutters required to make the moulding
Machine setup = £35		M = Number of metres of moulding required
Machining charge = £1.50 per metre

 

Total Price = L x £160 + S x £120 + M x £1.50 + M x (per metre price of PAR timber section) + VAT
